The show, Bad Girls Club, gave viewers across the world 17 seasons of iconic twitter memes, fights, and ultimately set the premise for modern-day reality television. For years, fans of the unforgettable series have been dying to see a cast reunion and their wishes have finally come true.
Former Bad Girls Club stars Seven Craft, Judi Jai, Mehgan James, Natalie Nunn, Sarah Oliver, Christina Salgado, Janelle Shanks, Sidney Starr, Tanisha Thomas reunited for the premiere of the spin-off series Baddies of ATL.
Despite being on the red carpet, the stars’ personalities were on full blast with a sprinkle of shade. After doing a few interviews and answering questions from the press on the red carpet, it was clear which stars had squashed their beef and who still had tension.
Executive producers Natalie Nunn and Tanisha Thomas were among the few who seemed to have put their differences aside and guided the other cast members through the season. Thomas used her time on the red carpet to encourage female viewers to join them along this journey of emotions that was long overdue.
This spin-off season also broke down barriers for the LGBTQ+ community by featuring the first transgender “baddie,” Sidney Starr. As a Chicago native, Starr was originally in the running for season 7 of Bad Girls Club, but claims to have been robbed of her chance on the show by castmate and former friend, Judi Jai who made the cut for season 7. This season of Baddies of ATL explores their past history and most importantly in Starr’s words, “opens the doors for the trans community.”
Lastly, the event brought out many former Bad Girls Club stars that will make an appearance on Baddies of ATL such as Meghan James from season 9, Andrea Sharples from season 2, and even Loren Jordan from season 12. Overall the event turned out to be a great success with no punches thrown and everyone’s weave intact. Now available on Zeus Network, it seems as though these “baddies” are in for a crazy, long ride!
