Artivism & Advocacy: Inside the Hip Hop Caucus 2026 Grammy Mixer

The Hip Hop Caucus hosted its 2026 Grammy mixer in Los Angeles, and it was the perfect blend of culture, conversation and purpose.

I had the pleasure of connecting with some incredible artists in the industry. Held during Grammy weekend, the event brought together entertainment and advocacy in a way that felt intentional and impactful. Voices like Lynae Vanee were part of the experience, helping highlight how culture continues to shape conversations around environmental justice and social change.

The evening also celebrated true "artivists," including Grammy winner Durand Bernarr, honoring artists who use their platforms to move the culture forward while standing firmly in their values. The energy in the room was inspiring and reminded me how powerful it is when creativity and activism meet.

Beyond the message, it was a great networking experience filled with meaningful connections, thoughtful dialogue and amazing food. It was one of those events that leaves you full in every way and proud to be part of a community that understands the responsibility and influence of culture.
