Making my way downtown, heading to the legendary Ryman Auditorium, all I could think about was how amazing it must feel to be Coco Jones. After her 33-city Why Not More U.S. tour, she wrapped up her final night in her hometown, Nashville, TN. I imagined it felt like a dream for her, it definitely did for me, and it reminded me how aligned I am. Can I just take a moment to highlight how both of our names are Courtney, both are affectionately known as Coco, and we are two girls from Nashville, TN going after everything we desire and more! All I could do was smile big for our hometown girl as the crowd yelled her name while she prepared to walk on the stage and give us a night to remember.
Let’s get into what the night looked like.

TA Thomas started the show off with soul. He gave us a little bit of church, a little bit of smooth, and a whole lot of charm. TA is the kind of performer who knows how to look you in your eyes and make you feel like he’s singing just to you. And he did just that too as he went into the crowd and sang beautifully to his fans, making a special girl feel even more special. I also must add how humble and kind he was.
Lady London quickly became a crowd favorite. One of the most powerful moments of her set was when she prayed over us, spoke on divine signs, and connected with the crowd on a deeply spiritual level. Her words were just as powerful, impactful, and affirming as her lyrics. Lady London stands as a true embodiment of self-love, divine femininity, and faith.
I also have to shout out DJ Zookeeper, Lady London’s official DJ. He kept the energy high and had the entire venue rocking all night, keeping us hype between each set and getting us ready for the moment we’d been anticipating, Coco Jones.
When Coco took the stage, she made her presence and power known. Without a doubt, Coco Jones is making sure that not just Nashville knows her name, but that the world recognizes her as the star she truly is. Her artistry and raw talent were unmatched. Her vocals were on point, and she kept the crowd engaged with both her energy and undeniable stage presence. As I watched her work the stage and effortlessly hit her dance moves, all I could do was yell, “Go Coco, go!”
This was a full-circle moment watching a star shine in Music City, the city that raised her. It was more than a concert. It was a homecoming. One that reminded me, Courtney to Courtney, or Coco to Coco, that purpose, talent, and prayer can take you far but you never forget where you came from.

Special thanks to 92Q for hosting the Coco Jones: Why Not More Tour in Nashville. During the show, the legendary Kenny Smoov Morning Show team took the stage to share that they regularly give away free concert tickets. That’s definitely something to keep in mind if you’re looking to catch the next big show!
