I had the pleasure of attending the premiere of Unexpected Christmas and let me tell you, this film was both heartfelt and hilarious. The energy in the room was pure joy and instantly got everyone in the holiday spirit. The red carpet was filled with laughter, love, and a real sense of community as the cast and crew celebrated a story that reminds us what the holidays are truly about, love.

In my exclusive interview with Tabitha Brown, who plays "Debbie," Tabitha shared how much she truly enjoyed bringing this character to life. She described Unexpected Christmas as a “feel good film” that reminds us to slow down, love hard, and let joy find us, even when life takes unexpected turns. Her presence was so full of light and warmth, just like the energy she brings to everything she touches. And please, make sure you check out her vegan mac and cheese recipe!

I also caught up with Reagan Gomez-Preston, who stars as "Kerry." She lit up when talking about filming and said she had the best time on set. Reagan shared that every year she hosts Christmas at her own home, so working on a holiday film felt extra special and familiar; like bringing a piece of her real life to the screen. You could really feel her excitement and love for the story and message of unity in family, even in the hardest of times.

Unexpected Christmas delivers laughs, heart, and that beautiful reminder of what the season is all about love, family, and believing in what you can’t always see. It’s the kind of movie that leaves you smiling long after the credits roll and makes you want to hug the people you love a little tighter.

Make sure you support Unexpected Christmas, now in theatres and Unexpected Christmas: The Soundtrack on all digital music providers. If you loved This Christmas, this one will absolutely make your heart melt.
