Mmmm Rum! Three Cocktails for #NationalRumDay

It's National Rum Day! One of BarDiva's favorite sprits is one of the most versatile and easiest spirits to mix with. Because Rum is made from sugarcane, it naturally holds a high sugar content. So, to cut down on the sugar in cocktails, we use sugar-free juices.

The easiest Rum cocktail to create is the "Rum Punch;" it can be made in many different ways! But for fun, here are classic Rum Recipes that are fun and easy to make!

Rum Punch

1oz Silver Rum

1oz Malibu Rum

3/4oz 151 Proof Rum

1oz Myers Dark Rum

3/4oz Sour mix

3/4oz Grenadine

1oz Orange Juice

2oz Pineapple Juice

2oz Cranberry Juice

Directions:

Mix Rum(except Myers Dark Rum),Sour Mix, Grenadine and All juices in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over ice. Float Myers Dark Rum ontop. Garnish with a orange peel, and cherries.

Rumtini

2oz Silver Rum

1oz Watermelon pucker

2oz Cranberry Juice

1oz San Pellegrino Raspberry Lemon Soda

Directions:

Add all ingredients in a shaker with ice(San Pellegrino Raspberry Lemon Soda). Shake and strain in a martini glass. Top with San Pellegrino Raspberry Lemon Soda. Garnish with a lemon.

Rumrita

2oz Silver Rum

1oz Caché

1oz orange juice

1oz lime juice

1oz simple syrup

Directions:

Add all ingredients in a shaker. Shake and Strain in a margarita glass. Garnish with a lime.
