We may not be in a rush to reach the afterlife, but Kid Cudi is giving fans a celestial experience on his “The Rebel Ragers” Tour. Known for his therapeutic humming and melodic vulnerability, Cudi is trekking across the U.S. alongside special guests Big Boi, A-Trak, and Dot Da Genius.

The tour comes on the heels of a prolific streak. In March 2026, Cudi gifted fans the EP HAVE U BN 2 HEAVEN @ NITE?, while listeners are still keeping his 2025 album Free (featuring standout tracks like “Mr. Miracle” and “Neverland”) on high rotation.

However, the tour hasn't been without friction. Cudi recently made headlines for removing opening act M.I.A. (Maya Arulpragasam) following controversial remarks she made regarding undocumented immigrants during a Dallas tour stop. After fans expressed their discomfort with her mid-set rant, Cudi took to social media to clarify: “I won’t have someone on my tour making offensive remarks that upsets my fanbase.”

M.I.A. fired back on social media, claiming she was being "censored" and dismissing the move as "virtue signaling." This tension follows her 2024 endorsement of Donald Trump and RFK Jr., marking a stark political pivot for the "Paper Planes" singer.

Despite the backstage drama, the "vibe" remains intact. During an Atlanta stop on May 6, Cudi proved he’s more focused on connection than controversy. He was even spotted gifting a Target employee and his mother free tickets during a livestream.

The highlight of the Atlanta visit was Cudi's time spent with Big Boi, one half of the legendary OutKast. Big Boi, a known master of the grill, taught Cudi a thing or two about culinary skills with a grilled lobster tail lesson —a video that had fans everywhere drooling. Cudi later called it the “best lobster tail I ever had in my life.” The bond clearly goes beyond the kitchen; following the show, the two icons took to social media to officially announce they are working on a collaborative EP together.

On stage at State Farm Arena, the energy was electric. After sets by A-Trak and the duo of Big Boi and Sleepy Brown, Cudi appeared at 8:46 PM inside a glowing rectangular box. The setlist was a journey through time, bridging the gap between his new experimental sounds and the "day one" classics like “Day ’n' Nite” and “Pursuit of Happiness.”

For Cudi, being on stage at all is a triumph. He shared with the Atlanta crowd that a broken foot two years ago nearly ended his performing career. Coupled with his 2022 comments to Zane Lowe about "closing the chapter" on his music career, seeing him smiling and blowing kisses to the crowd felt like a victory for both the artist and his fans.

The "Rebel Ragers" Tour runs through June 27, 2026.
