This Small Business Saturday, Women for the Culture proudly spotlights Tiffani Chiles, founder of Tiff Tips, whose work is shifting the conversation around self-care... rooting it in intention, reflection, and everyday action. What started as a personal journey has blossomed into a wellness movement that not only encourages women to prioritize themselves but also guides them in doing so in meaningful, sustainable ways.

One of the most unique elements of Tiffani’s approach is her connection between plant care and self-care. Through tools like her Roots and Reflections Plant Parents Planner, she teaches that just as plants require nurturing, patience, consistency, and the right environment to thrive... so do we. Her insights help plant lovers and those simply seeking balance to slow down, celebrate growth, and recognize the beauty in small wins.
With more than a decade of leadership experience in corporate America, Tiffani models what it looks like to pursue purpose while excelling professionally. Today, we highlight her not only as a successful small business owner but as a self-care advisor committed to cultivating wellness in women everywhere; one seed, one page, one moment at a time.

Meet Tiffani Chiles of Tiff Tips!
W4TC: Tell us about the moment you realized self-care needed to be more than just a buzzword; it needed to be a lifestyle.
TC: After having several conversations with family, friends, and people in close proximity to me, I noticed a consistent pattern, my community often put self-care on the back burner. It wasn’t a priority. It was something they’d get to if they had time. That’s when I realized this was something I needed to work on: showing people that self-care could be woven into their everyday lives.
W4TC: You founded Tiff Tips in 2017, but it fully blossomed in 2021. What shifted during that time that made you decide to grow it into a full-fledged self-care company?
TC: At the time, I was doing a lot of self-work- therapy and exploring every possible way to nurture my mental, physical, and emotional well-being. That journey gave me clarity and helped me identify my purpose. Once I did, I took the necessary steps to elevate Tiff Tips to the next level.
W4TC: With 13 years in Corporate America and a leadership role overseeing 14 sites, how do you balance high-level corporate responsibilities with running a purpose-driven brand like Tiff Tips?
TC: It hasn’t always been easy; I’ll be honest about that. But I’ve found consistency by maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I make sure to give my brand the same energy and dedication that I give my 9-to-5, if not more.
W4TC: Many women struggle with prioritizing themselves. What are the first three steps you recommend for women trying to incorporate more self-care into their routines?
TC: First, you must understand that if you don’t prioritize yourself, no one else will. Second, don’t try to find the time- make the time. Third, start small. Do a little at a time and choose self-care tasks that fit into your current routine so they don’t feel forced.
W4TC: You emphasize plants, books, and travel as your self-care trifecta. Can you share how each of those pillars supports your personal wellness?
TC: Absolutely. Taking care of plants mirrors taking care of yourself; it forces you to slow down and appreciate small wins, like a new leaf growing. Books are a source of overlooked knowledge. Reading can truly transform your life, regardless of genre. Travel ties it all together. The best way to grow is to experience life outside of your comfort zone. It opens your eyes to new perspectives and ways of living.

W4TC: What inspired the creation of the Roots and Reflections Plant Parents Planner? How can someone use it to deepen their self-care journey?
TC: Roots and Reflections is incredibly close to my heart. Creating it pushed me beyond my comfort zone and allowed me to put something meaningful into the world. Now it’s in homes across the country. It helps deepen your self-care journey by encouraging reflection whether you’re a plant parent or not.
It includes plant prompts that help you care for yourself while caring for your plants. Even if you don’t use it that way, let it motivate you to finally do that thing you’ve been saying you want to do.

W4TC: How has your professional experience in Customer Experience and Quality Assurance informed the way you serve your Tiff Tips community?
TC: It’s given me a huge advantage in how I communicate and serve. I take pride in ensuring my community receives a high-quality product and exceptional customer service. That foundation in excellence shows up in everything I do for Tiff Tips.
W4TC: As someone who’s been featured in magazines and invited to speak at commencements, what has been one of your proudest moments since launching Tiff Tips?
TC: My proudest moment isn’t tied to one event- it’s the fact that I haven’t given up. I keep pushing myself and my brand forward. I believe that God has me operating in my purpose, and for that reason, I will continue to keep going.
W4TC: What does being a “Self-Care Advisor” truly mean to you? How do you tailor your advice to meet women where they are?
TC: As a self-care advisor, my goal is to meet women where they are; understanding their definition of self-care, learning their goals, and providing guidance, knowledge, and inspiration to help them get there. Everyone’s journey is different, and that’s what makes it so beautiful and fulfilling.
W4TC: What are some of the self-care myths you’d like to debunk, especially for busy, high-achieving women?
TC: I love this question because self-care isn’t always pretty. It’s not always Instagrammable, and it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. True self-care is free and freeing. If you’re overthinking it, overspending, or constantly feeling like you don’t have enough time, that’s a sign it’s not aligned with what self-care should truly be for you.
W4TC: We love that you offer free affirmation cards on your site. What’s your favorite affirmation right now, and why?
TC: One of my favorite affirmations is one I learned from my late financial advisor. I still use it today:
“Money flows to me easily and effortlessly. All my bills are paid in full. My biggest debt is paid.”
This affirmation has proven true in my life time and time again.
W4TC: If a woman is just discovering Tiff Tips today, where should she start on your website?
TC: Start in the “About” section. Learn about my journey. My hope is that my story inspires others to pursue purpose and wellness.
W4TC: What does the phrase “Women for the Culture” mean to you, and how does your work with Tiff Tips reflect that mission?
TC: Women for the Culture is such a powerful phrase. To me, it means showing up in a way that impacts those walking alongside you and those coming after you - while honoring the women who paved the way. It’s about reaching back to your people and helping them grow. It’s the FUBU mentality: For Us, By Us.
W4TC: What’s next for Tiff Tips? Are there any new launches, events, or initiatives we should watch for?
TC: Tiff Tips is closing out the year in major ways. Be on the lookout for Roots and Reflections pop-up events; and who knows, a new journal may be coming your way!
