"The Light"

The question of the day is whether poet, rapper, actor, and producer Common has finally seen "The Light." As we all know, Common has been in some very high-profile relationships dating back to the early 2000s with ladies such as Erykah Badu and Taraji P Henson; in more recent relationships, Common has also been linked to political analyst and Culture Commentator Angela Rye and Comedian Tiffany Haddish.

From the outside looking in, Common would check off the box for many women. He seems levelheaded, his career goals align with who he presents to us, and there is no doubt that he loves black women. So, when we hear that another relationship didn't work out, we squint our eyes and say, "Well, dang, Common, are you the problem?

Can the Grammy award-winning rapper finally say, "I never knew a luh, luh-luh, a love like this" regarding his newest flame?

On today's episode of the Jennifer Hudson show that has been renewed for Season three, the EGOT winner had Common on there to clear up a few things about his relationship status. Jhud said, "I'm a host, so I have to ask you this question because everybody always wants to know this: Are you dating anyone"? Now, if you haven't been living under a rock for the past few months, then you know that it has been rumored that the Chicago natives have been secretly dating. After being asked the question, Common went on to dote on this "mystery woman," describing Hudson to the T, saying he's in a relationship with the most beautiful person he ever met in life, joking that he set his standard kinda high because she has an EGOT and won an Oscar on her first movie.

Tribe, do you think Common has finally found the woman he can settle down with? The have many commonalities both are accomplished in the music and film industry; they both have one child each and they both grew up in Chicago. Are those factors enough to help build on a relationship?

Common, Jhud deserve all the happiness and we are going to need you to handle her with care and please don't dim her light.

"Because of you, feelings I handle with care."

Some niggaz recognize the light but they can't handle the glare."

Ladies let us know in the comments if you think Common has found his "Sunshine."
