When author and women’s empowerment coach Nikki Branch set out to write her first children’s book, she wanted to create something that would inspire families like hers while helping others better understand autism. “The idea came to me one day while I was at work,” Nikki explains. “I thought, why not take what my family is experiencing and turn it into something that could uplift others? This book became a way to share Zahir’s story while also encouraging parents to see the beauty in their children’s unique ways of being.”
